All my life I have always done things because it's expected of me. The expectations didn't necessarily steam from within me but from without; others. And I honestly don't regret any bit of it. But after a tragic event in my area that reminded me once again of the vanity of life, I decided to change the dance; I decided to do something cos it's what I want and not what others wanted. The 'Reluctant' Saviour

  It's once again a season to remember our Lord and saviour Jesus, and many creatives have not disappointed in their display of the events of the season. One of such creative videos caught my attention, and as a writer  per excellence,  a lot of ideas are determined to be poured out. I know that many Christians frown at any comical display of Christ-related issues. But, suffice it to say that no matter your stance or opinion, drama is a powerful informative and entertaining channel. GRACE

I just want to forget how the whole world seems wrong most times. It's like the more one strives on his own, the more difficult everything seems to appear mosttimes. I ask, why strive when the productivity of one’s effort is futile? Then I came across a passage in the scripture which emphasizes on grace; it speaks that "it's not of him that willeth nor of him that runneth but of him whom the Lord Almighty showeth mercy". That scripture I believe is the being of most of our existence, cos no matter how much one struggles, if the grace of God is missing in such a man’s life, then all his efforts are futile. And to buttress this, I recall the passage which says; "I will give mercy to whom I want". So, I guess my questions are; 📍1: How do you know such grace has been bestowed upon you? 📍2: Can one obtain the grace if you have not been given naturally, like Jacob was given right form the womb?—cos the uniqueness of Gods' grace is that it will ONLY be given ...
